The discipline and work ethic honed in the United States Marine Corp has guided Robert Mester throughout his 52-year career in the maritime industry. 

Robert has served in the capacity of consultant on maritime projects, maritime issues on insurance and facilities, professional witness on maritime matters, and search, survey, and salvage at both state, federal, and international levels. 

 Robert was the co-founder and director of Underwater Admiralty Sciences, until it's closure in March, 2023. Underwater Admiralty Sciences (UAS) was a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that specialized in location, identification, and recovery of submerged cultural resources. Videos of a few of UAS's endeavors are included on the Projects page.
